As the field hockey season draws to a close, we begin to turn our attention to the indoor hockey season!
As per last year there are two competitions that we are looking at attending in Term 4 that are run in the Northern area, for more details please visit the Sydney Indoor Hockey Association website at http://www.sydneyindoorhockey.com.au
Competitions run for all junior age groups with girls only competitions running at Abbotsleigh and/or a mixed competition running at the Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre. Teams will be selected on age and field hockey skills sets

Friendship requests will be accommodated where/when possible

No trials or training will be held

Parents will be required to assist with organisation and game day requirements

A lighter and thinner indoor stick should be used and can be purchased either online or from the normal hockey shops.

All teams will wear normal GNS uniform, plus the usual shins pads/mouth guard
Finally for anyone interested, SIHA will be running some free pre-season/introductory clinics at Abbotsleigh School Gym on Sunday 27th Aug, 3rd Sept and 10th Sept from 2pm to 4pm. No need to book just turn up on the day to participate.
